Our Marginalized Community Empowerment Initiatives
Empowering vulnerable communities for a more inclusive, equitable, and self-reliant society.
Empowering Rural Women Through Skills and Capacity Building
At Indepth Vision Foundation, we are dedicated to empowering rural women by providing them with practical skills and opportunities that foster economic independence, social inclusion, and personal growth.
Our initiatives align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals — SDG 5: Gender Equality, SDG 1: No Poverty, and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth — aiming to uplift marginalized women through skill-based education and entrepreneurship.
Sewing and Tailoring Centers
Our women’s stitching and tailoring centers provide hands-on training to help rural women acquire sustainable livelihood skills. Participants learn garment construction, design, and marketing.
- Start small home-based businesses or self-help groups
- Gain steady employment in local textile units
- Develop financial confidence and independence
- Enhance social mobility and leadership within their villages
Holistic Capacity Building Programs
We adopt a holistic model of empowerment that goes beyond skills. Our programs address the social, emotional, and digital dimensions of growth.
- Beauty & Wellness Training: Helping women start micro-salons or join parlour chains.
- Digital Literacy Programs: Initiatives like Digital Shehali train women to use smartphones, e-commerce, and banking apps.
- Leadership Workshops: Confidence-building and communication skills sessions.
- Health & Hygiene Awareness: Including menstrual hygiene sessions and sanitary pad distribution drives.
